Shay Johanson's practice focuses primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions and private debt and equity offerings, commercial lending, partnership structuring and general corporate matters. He has represented purchasers and sellers in public and private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, licensors and licensees in software development and licensing transactions and various entities in partnership structuring.

- Represented a large real estate brokerage firm in the acquisition of a mortgage company and in the acquisition of a local real estate brokerage firm.
- Represented a midstream energy company in its financing of the construction of a natural gas gathering facility.
