Our Commercial Banking & Finance practice represents commercial lenders with respect to structuring, negotiating and documenting lending transactions. In this area, we are especially conscious of the need to document transactions accurately and efficiently, in a manner which maximizes the lender's ability to obtain repayment.

This practice also consists of syndication, agency and participation in multi-lender credits/letters of credit, as well as representing banks and other financial institutions in the work-out or restructuring of problem loans, foreclosures and pursuing collection.

The Firm also represents business entities in their transactions with corporate lenders, venture capital lenders and investors, and private individual lenders. We have substantial experience with respect to representing borrowers and reviewing and analyzing lending transactions, as well as in financing acquisitions, takeovers and leveraged buyouts.

Typical loan transactions include asset-based lending involving inventory and accounts receivable financing, working capital and term loans, secured loan transactions, such as real estate, oil and gas loans, and acquisition-based leveraged buyout financing. We represent lenders and borrowers with respect to letters of credit and other types of standby credit facilities.

Our member of the Firm that concentrates on Commercial Banking and Finance transactions is Tim Horan.
